Poll Reaction: Foxes stars to remain at Leicester next season

Leicester City will hold onto the top talents of Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy and N’Golo Kante this summer, according to today’s Ladbrokes poll.

With Claudio Ranieri’s Foxes eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table, there has been inevitable interest from European giants looking to snap up the kings of the King Power Stadium.

However, 36 per cent of voters believe that all three of City’s PFA Player of the Year nominees – including winner Mahrez – will remain at the east Midlands club for next season’s first ever Champions League campaign.

More than a quarter (29 per cent) of you believe that the lure of other Premier League heavyweights may prove too much for some of Leicester’s title tilt heroes, predicting that only one of the three players will still be on the Foxes’ books at the start of next season.

Meanwhile, 25 per cent of you plumped for two of the three Leicester legends to remain, and one to exit – a ratio which many Foxes fans would probably settle for.

But 10 per cent predicted a mass exodus of stars from the hugely unexpected title-toppers. With several clubs reportedly interested in all three men, and Mahrez turning heads with his Player of the Year triumph, this certainly could be a long summer for Ranieri, as he bids to keep onto his prize assets.

In the short term at least, all three men remain in Ranieri’s ranks as Leicester look to clinch the title, with the former Chelsea boss 2/9 to guide them to title-winning glory in the coming weeks.
