Odds shorten on Zlatan making summer switch to Man Utd

Published:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is increasingly likely to become a Manchester United player this summer, with his contract at PSG expiring at the end of the season.

The Swedish star is just 7/4 to become a Red Devil next term, with reports continuing to link the 34-year-old with a move to Manchester.

It seems PSG won’t let their star asset go easily however, with 2/1 offered on the Parisian side getting the credit card out to keep Ibrahimovic in the French capital a little longer.

It’s odds-on at 4/6 the striker moves to the Premier League next term, but should Zlatan favour London over the north of England, it’s 10/1 apiece he signs for Arsenal or Chelsea.

Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City are all considered long outsiders for the forward’s signature.

With 39 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions this season, age is showing no sign of slowing the Swede down, and it seems he wants a taste of Premier League football before hanging up his boots.

Ibrahimovic is in Manchester tonight, with his PSG side looking to oust Man City in their Champions League quarter-final second leg tie.

With the tie poised at 2-2 from a thrilling first clash last week, Zlatan is 7/2 to score in a PSG win, thus ending City’s hopes and winning over the Red half of Manchester before he’s even joined them…

Classic Zlatan.
