Guardiola looks certain to make Gundogan a Citizen

Manchester City are 1/6 to bring talented Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan to the Etihad this summer, with the incoming Pep Guardiola’s revamp of the Manchester club’s squad seemingly already underway.

The skilful and industrious 25-year-old has been a key part of BvB’s recent domestic and European success and looks set to be an early addition to the two-time Premier League winners.

Liverpool are second-favourites to prise Gundogan away from Dortmund at 8/1, and a move to Anfield would reunite the German international with former boss Jurgen Klopp.

Arsenal are also in the running at 12/1, and following the Gunners’ fans backlash when boss Arsene Wenger failed to sign a single outfield player last summer, a few big-name signings are likely to be on the cards at the Emirates this summer.

Manchester City are next in action on Saturday when they visit Stamford Bridge, looking to move another step closer to securing Champions League football, with a win for the Citizens 17/10.

Whatever the result this weekend, the player valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt looks set to be wearing the sky blue of Manchester City by the end of the transfer window.
