Defeat in El Clasico could spell an early end for Zidane

Zinedine Zidane could be on the verge of a swift Real Madrid departure should his side lose this weekend’s El Clasico, according to Ladbrokes.

The former France star has been under increasing pressure at the Bernabeu club, and it’s just 3/1 Zidane leaves his post before the end of the season should Real be beaten on Saturday.

The omens aren’t good for the 1998 World Cup winner, with each of Real’s last five managers losing their first clash with Barcelona.

Devastating trio Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar are 8/1 to all get on the scoresheet at the Nou Camp, while it’s 16s that Ronaldo gets in on the act too for Los Blancos.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “He was a legend on the pitch but Zidane is struggling in the dugout and we’ll see his odds to leave before the end of the season go through the floor if Real take an El Clasico pasting.”

Barca are 11/20 for victory on Saturday evening, while Real, who really must win to stay in the title race, are 17/4.

Both teams to score is 4/11, while it’s 8/11 we see over 3.5 goals in the Nou Camp.

Messi and Suarez lead the first goalscorer betting at 7/2 each, with Neymar at 9/2 and Ronaldo 11/2 to hand Real the initiative in Barcelona.
