International friendlies may have taken a lot of the attention this weekend, but not at Ibrox where Rangers were entered into a Ladbrokes Championship thriller with Queens from which they only just prevailed.
Harry Forrester, Michael O’Halloran, Andrew Halliday and James Tavernier had put the Gers 4-1 up before the hour, only for Queens to come roaring back.
The hosts hung on though, and coupled with Falkirk’s loss at home to Livingston, are now 14 points clear at the top with a game in hand.
