Real Madrid favourites to land Champions League-seeking Lukaku

Real Madrid are favourites to capture the signing of Romelu Lukaku, with reports suggesting the La Liga club are lining up a huge summer offer for the Everton star this summer.
With the Toffees continuing to frustrate in the Premier League, and Lukaku making no secret of his desire to play Champions League football, Real are allegedly preparing a £60m offer for the striker.
With 25 goals this season, the 22-year-old has been left frustrated as Everton’s defensive woes under Roberto Martinez have left them well below where should be in the league table.
It’s 4/1 Lukaku makes the Bernabeu his next home, while it’s 6/1 the forward makes the long-since mooted move to Manchester United.
A switch from the royal blue of Everton to the light blue of Man City is 7/1, while it’s 8s the hotshot makes a return to a Jose Mourinho-less Chelsea.
Arsenal and Barcelona are each a 10/1 price to become Lukaku’s next destination, while a move to Bundesliga Kings Bayern Munich is 12/1.
It seems rather unlikely that the forward will make the short trip across Stanley Park however, with 20/1 for Lukaku to do the unthinkable and join Liverpool.
A Ladbrokes spokesman said: “Real Madrid are favourites to grant Lukaku’s wish of Champions League football as Everton prepare themselves for a nervous summer.”
The Toffees are next in action after the international break when the head to Old Trafford.
Having lost just once away from home this term, Lukaku will be hoping to fire Everton to victory at 14/5 against Louis van Gaal’s men, who are evens favourites for the tie on a week on Sunday.
