Is Crystal Palace star the next man heading to China?

Wilfried Zaha could be the next Premier League player heading to China to boost the ranks of the rising Chinese Super League.

With big money on offer a host of top names have shunned some of Europe’s top clubs in order to move to the Far East and with a £15m bid in the offing the former Manchester United man could be the next in line.

Liverpool recently lost out to Jiangsu Suning when trying to lure Brazilian Alex Teixeira, to the Premier League.

The CSL outfit shelled out £38m for the former Shakhtar Donetsk player who joins the likes of Jackson Martinez, Ramires, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Nikica Jelavic in China.

According to reports Zaha is a £15m target for Beijing Guoan. After seeing their interest rebuffed in the recent January transfer window the Chinese side said have confirmed they will return in the summer with an improved offer.

Zaha has made 33 appearances for the Eagles this term, scoring five goals and putting in a number of impressive displays.

However, a poor run of form since the turn of the year has seen the Selhurst Park outfit dragged into a relegation scrap and the prospect of a dropping back down to the Championship could help Zaha make up his mind about a move to China.

Palace are next in action on March 6 when Alan Pardew’s men host Liverpool. The south Londoners go into that game as 23/10 outsiders, with the Reds on at 6/5 and the draw available at 9/4.
