5 PSG stars hoping to impress potential new employers at Chelsea

There’s plenty riding on Chelsea versus PSG this week. Will the Blues’ hopes of playing Champions League football come to an end? Will Zlatan’s dream of winning the great trophy be delayed for yet another season? And how many of these players will be wearing their opponents’ shirt next season?
With Eden Hazard and Diego Costa linked to Paris in recent weeks, this summer could see a number of players swap the English capital for the French.
Here’s five PSG stars who will be out to impress in what could be their new home next season…
Edinson Cavani
The Uruguayan is so often linked with a Premier League move, but this summer could be the real deal.
If Diego Costa heads elsewhere, Chelsea will be needing a new figurehead up front and Cavani could be that man.
With so many Premier League clubs expected to spend big this summer, the Blues can’t afford to miss out.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Out of contract this summer, Zlatan has made no secret of his desire to give the Premier League a try.
Ideally a Champions League team would suffice, but with Leicester and Tottenham looking to gatecrash the party, that sort of leaves only Arsenal and Manchester City.
He’s got beef with the Gunners going back years however, and Pep Guardiola is about to arrive at City, the man who sold Zlatan from Barca to Inter.
So, unless he’s heading to join Jamie Vardy or pitch up at White Hart Lane, he isn’t playing Champions League footie if he arrives in England. With Manchester United continue to unimpress, hello Chelsea?.
Javier Pastore
With Eden Hazard refusing to quell speculation over a move to Les Parisiens, Javier Pastore would make a very suitable replacement.
The Argentinian has been in the French capital since 2011, and has won all there is apart from the Champions League. Time for Pastore to seek pastures new?
Blaise Matuidi
PSG’s driving force, Matuidi has been linked with a move to Chelsea for some time.
There’s little doubting that he would represent a step up from John Obi Mikel, and like Pastore, could be up for a new scene after five years in Paris.
Angel di Maria
Di Maria’s spell with Manchester United was a disaster for various reasons, but there’s little doubting the winger’s quality.
He’s settled in quickly in Paris, but if any club are going to woo the Argentine back to English shores, it’s Chelsea.
