Why Juve man should pick Man City over Man Utd

Manchester City and Manchester United will already have the derby at the end of March on their minds, but they are set for another battle.
According to The Daily Express via the Italian outfit Calciomercato, the two north-west giants are looking into the possibility of signing Alex Sandro from Juventus.
The 25-year-old left back is reportedly valued at £35m by the Italian club and the Express claims the Serie A champions have already turned down two bids for the Brazilian player.
United are set to become the richest club in the world due to upcoming sponsorship deals, while the Citizens’ wealth is well known.
Both would surely be able to match that valuation if they so desired meaning the only decision left would be for Sandro to decide which side of Manchester to head to.
City’s larger likelihood of reaching the Champions League of course makes them a more attractive option, but another reason should play more on the transfer target’s mind.
The Red Devils currently have two young left-backs developing nicely at Old Trafford, with Luke Shaw and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson both seen as stars for the future at the club.
Considering the fact they are both English and Borthwick-Jackson is homegrown, supporters will be more keen to see them start over Sandro and this could see him battling it out to start.
Conversely, City’s two left backs are advancing in years and the younger Juve man would most likely be able to walk into the starting 11.
Aleksandar Kolarov and Gael Clichy are both 30 and have been at the Etihad for at least five years each.
For an incoming manager who wants to make their own team such as Pep Guardiola, this would make them dispensable when looking to mould the squad in his image and Sandro would easily move ahead in the pecking order.
