Paul Pogba just 7/2 to follow Antonio Conte and join Chelsea

Antonio Conte seems all but set to become Chelsea manager next season, and that in turn has seen Paul Pogba’s odds of becoming a Blue tumble.

Reports emerged this week stating the Italy boss has agreed a deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit, and the former Juventus manager is 11/10 favourite to be in charge on the first day of next season.

Should a deal be completed, it’s largely expected that Conte will make Pogba his number one target to join him in west London.

The two excelled together in Turin, as Pogba emerged from being unwanted at Manchester United to becoming one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe.

A £70m price tag set by the Old Lady is unlikely to deter Roman Abramovich, and it’s just 7/2 that Pogba is calling the Bridge home by next season.

Conte’s potential raid of Juve doesn’t look to end there either, with Leonardo Bonucci a 5/1 shot to team-up with his former gaffer in the capital.

With John Terry set to depart the club this summer too, Giorgio Chiellini could be the man to fill his boosts and is 7/1 to swap the piazzas of Turin for the Kings Road.

With Eden Hazard refusing to quell speculation over a proposed move to PSG, Pogba would be the ideal replacement as Chelsea’s new talisman.

The Blues are next in action this weekend when they head to the coast to face Southampton.

Guus Hiddink’s side are 7/5 to beat the Saints, while Ronald Koeman’s hosts are 19/10.
