France boosted to add yet another Six Nations success in 2016

Published:

France have won more Six Nations Championships than any of their rivals, but with no success since 2010, the pressure will be on Guy Noves to guide his side to victory once again.

Les Bleus’ five triumphs since the tournament was established in its current guise puts them one ahead of England and Wales and two in front of Ireland.

As they look to restore order in European rugby, Ladbrokes are ramping up the excitement to the big kick-off with another awesome price boost.

For a limited time only, the bookmaker is offering a price of 13/2 that the French triumph once again and stretch clear of the remainder.

They only managed to triumph in half of their 10 matches against fellow Six Nations sides in 2015, but in their new head coach they have a man who is no stranger to silverware.

During his 22 year spell in charge of Gallic behemoths Toulouse, Noves saw his side land 10 French championships, four Heineken Cups and the French Cup on two occasions.

With that kind of record behind them there is no reason to doubt that France can be more competitive in the upcoming tournament than they have been in recent years.

If they are to power to more silverware you’d have to expect them to oblige at odds of 1/14 in their tournament opener against Italy on Saturday.

The Azzurri visit the Stade De France looking to improve on a record that sees them come out as losers in 15 of their last 16 encounters with fellow Six Nations countries.

However, should the match follow the form book once again and the French come out on top, Ladbrokes price boost could be looking pretty tasty by the time referee blows his final whistle in Paris.

Price boost available until midnight Tuesday February 2, max bet £25.
