Don’t ignore the Aberdeen/Leicester double for much longer

Following the latest loss, there will be more than a couple of nervous glances at the standings by fans of the Glasgow giants.

Three away games on the spin for McInnes’ men are sure to test the mettle of their Celtic pursuit, but 8/1 on the title could shrink if they pass these examinations and their rivals continue to falter.

Meanwhile, Leicester continue to stick two fingers up to the establishment down south, but while many viewed Claudio Ranieri’s mob as nothing more than teenage renegades as the autumn unfolded, as spring approaches they look to have matured in rapid time.

The Midlands outfit were top at Christmas – the position held by five of the last six Premier League champions – and now they are making sides like Liverpool look ordinary, their price for the big one continues to shrink.

Spurred on by the prolific Jamie Vardy, the Foxes face a show-stopping fixture against City next and should they beat them, then 9/2 on the biggest title shock of all time, suddenly becomes something altogether less juicy.
