POLL: It’s an oldie but a goodie – Liverpool v Man United is best

Both Liverpool and Manchester United may be going through some tough times this season, but matches between the pair are still the biggest English football has to offer.
That’s according to the voters on today’s Ladbrokes News poll, who overwhelmingly say Liverpool versus Manchester United matches can’t be beaten.
The two sides dominated the game between them from the mid 1970s until, well, about five years ago.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal are now constant thorns in these two northern giants sides’, and ahead of this Sunday’s clash at Anfield, neither Liverpool nor United sit in the Premier League’s top five.
Such a statement would have been simply unfathomable in years gone by.

Some 65 per cent of you say this fixture remains the pinnacle in the English game, while 35 per cent said no, perhaps feeling that the glory days are over for at least one of these two football behemoths.
