Patriots and Panthers to advance to Super Bowl 50

Published:

The NFL playoffs are really hotting up and we’re only one set of matches away from knowing who will be competing in Super Bowl 50.

It’s going to be one of the New England Patriots or the Denver Broncos going up against the Arizona Cardinals or the Carolina Panthers, with all four looking strong going into the Conference Championship games.

The Patriots vanquished the Kansas City Chiefs 27-20, the Panthers beat the Seattle Seahawks 31-24, the Broncos triumphed over the Steelers 23-16, while the Cardinals needed over time to edge past the Green Bay Packers in a match that finished 26-20.

It’s difficult to know who to back with all four performing admirably so far, but one side does stand out above the rest.

Tom Brady has been excellent at getting the Patriots this far and will do so again when they head to the Sports Authority Field.

All of the star players, such as Brady and Rob Gronkowski, are coming good for the New England outfit and just the right time and they should be backed at 20/33 to advance.

Only one team, the Steelers, has scored 30 points on the Broncos this season so expect this to be close despite the ability of Brady and company.

Putting money on the Patriots to win by a margin of 1-6 at 7/2 would be a wise investment.

Elsewhere, the Panthers look set to join the Patriots in Super Bowl 50 and should get the better of the Cardinals.

The Carolina outfit have been phenomenal this season, only losing once, and the fact their opponents needed over time in the last match shows they’re not the complete outfit.

All eight of the last NFC finals have been settled by a touchdown or less and this encounter should be no difference.

Therefore, like the Patriots game, the best bet would be to back the Panthers to win by 1-6 points and this comes in at 7/2.

Ladbrokes is offering a *Double Odds First Touchdown promotion for these games and this presents another opportunity for punters to bring in some cash.

Gronk’s return from injury has galvanised the Patriots and he can be backed at 11/2 to get the first TD, while Larry Fitzgerald is gaining a lot of fandom for his playoff heroics and should get on the scoresheet here and odds of 9/1 say he’ll get the ball rolling.
