Murray has the formula to beat Djokovic in Australian Open

Novak Djokovic seems invincible at the moment and the world number one is unbeaten in 14 matches.
Andy Murray has the unenviable task of having to overcome the unstoppable tennis star if he wants to claim Australian Open glory.
The Serb has beaten the British number one in all four of their previous meetings in this tournament and is priced at 1/6 to triumph once again.
However, there are number of factors that indicate the 4/1 underdog is set for his first taste of glory down under.
Firstly, the Scot was able to overcome Djokovic when they met in the Canadian Open to end an eight match winless run dating back to his famous Wimbledon triumph in 2013.
The Serb may have won the next two encounters between the pair, but they were in the Shanghai Masters and the Paris Masters so Murray is unlikely to have lost much sleep over those defeats.
Furthermore, the 28-year-old father to be has rattled the world number one in their last two Australian Open finals and this indicates that he has the tools required to unsettle Tennis’ top man.
Last year, Murray took the second set and blew important points in the third before Djokovic ran away with it in the fourth and the Scot will have learnt from these mistakes.
In 2013, the 28-year-old again took the second set, but tired after entering the final off the back of a gruelling five hour clash with Roger Federer, while Djokovic breezed into the match on the back of an 89 minute win.
The match is sure to be a close run affair, but given the lessons learnt in previous instalments the wisest bet would be to back Murray to win three sets to two at 10/1.
