Leicester v Tottenham: Familiar foes ready to duke it out once more

Leicester and Tottenham probably have each-others’ game-plan pretty sussed by now, but that won’t stop each side fancying themselves for victory in this FA Cup replay.
The pair drew 2-2 at White Hart Lane ten days ago, and have since met at the Lane once more in the League, where Leicester claimed a narrow 1-0 victory.
League One side Colchester await the winner in Essex in the Fourth Round, but for both sides this match will be the fourth in ten days, and the battle-worn players have seen neither club hit past form.
Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester are slight outsiders for the match at 9/5, a reflection perhaps on their recent run of one win in six games.
Tottenham are 6/4 favourites, and Mauricio Pochettino’s team have dealt with their travels admirably, winning four and drawing three of their last seven away games in all competitions.
The anoraks among you will note however that Leicester have a tidy recent history over Spurs in the FA Cup, winning at the Lane last year in addition to a third-round upset in 2006.
Spurs are yet to lose at the King Power since Leicester’s return to the Premier League though, claiming a 1-1 draw in August, while also running out 2-1 winners in the east Midlands last season.
Indeed since the Foxes came back up to the top tier, all six encounters across League and Cup have been closely-fought encounters.
Aside from two draws, the four victories have all come by single-goal margins. Claudio Ranieri’s men are 7/2 to win by one goal, while Spurs are 16/5.
Harry Kane caused this replay by tucking away an 89th minute penalty in north London, and the England international can boast five goals against the Foxes over the past two seasons.
The Tottenham front man netted a hat-trick past Kasper Schmeichel in a 4-3 win last March, and the 22-year-old is 4/1 to score first.
