Djokovic and Williams in action on day seven of Australian Open 

The action in the Australian Open is heating up now, with the wheat separated from the chaff as we head into round four.

Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams and Roger Federer will all take to the court on day seven, but they’re not the only talking point to think about.

Here’s what to look out for on day seven:

Top seeds in action 

Djokovic and Williams are the two best talents in world tennis at the moment and they will be strutting their stuff on day seven of the Australian Open.

The top-ranked player in the men’s game goes up against Gilles Simon, who looked impressive in his third-round straight sets victory, and has looked less than invincible in his earlier matches.

However, Djokovic is so far ahead of anyone else in the sport at the moment and will come good on his 1/66 odds of victory.

Similarly, Williams will get through Margarita Gasparyan and is priced at 1/25 to do so.

Hewitt’s career continues 

Lleyton Hewitt and his partner Sam Groth upset the odds to beat Henri Kontinen and John Peers in the last round, with their reward being a third-round clash against Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock.

The former Wimbledon champion bowed out of the singles game with a loss earlier in the Open, but his retirement tour continues in the doubles game.

Seeing the 34-year-old and his partner get this far will have come as a surprise to some, but they are showing their quality and should advance.

Tsonga and Nishikori to play out entertaining battle

The closest fought contest of day seven sees the seventh seed face the ninth seed, as Kei Nishikori goes up against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Both are yet to drop a set and are looking strong in Australia.

Backing these two to go the distance and Tsonga emerging with a 3-2 sets victory would be a wise investment, with such an outcome being priced at 11/10.
