Under pressure Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho are going nowhere

Depending on which way you want to look at the situation, receiving the dreaded vote of confidence from the Ladbrokes News voters is either a blessing or a curse.

Whatever your opinion, that’s the way you’ve called our latest poll regarding the respective futures of Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal and his Chelsea counterpart, Jose Mourinho.

With Laddies’ football traders making it a 12/1 shot that both men are sacked before the weekend we asked you what you think of their short-term job prospects.

And the result was that a whopping 63 per cent of voters think NEITHER manager will lose their job following the upcoming Champions League fixtures.

United travel to Wolfsburg tonight knowing that only a win will guarantee them progression to the last-16 while Chelsea have to avoid defeat against Porto to seal their passage to the next stage.

And with the latter’s gaffer arguably under more pressure than Van Gaal, 22 per cent of you backed Mourinho to be the one made to fall on his sword.

A poor result against his former club could seal The Special One’s fate following a disastrous start to the campaign.

But there were still eight per cent of you backing LVG to be the only midweek casualty while six per cent believe both parties will soon be receiving their P45s.
