POLL: Who will win this season’s Europa League?

Published:

The Europa League group stages are behind us for another year, those long Thursday night contests in Albania and Azerbaijan banished for another Autumn and the remaining teams can now begin to ponder lifting the trophy in May.

From an English perspective, both Liverpool and Tottenham topped their groups, ensuring a seeded spot in Monday’s draw for the Round of 32, and they’ll be joined by Champions League dropouts Manchester United.

Louis van Gaal’s men are 10/1 to win the competition, while it’s 12/1 the trophy heads to Anfield and 14/1 Spurs are victorious.

Some big names stand in their way though, mainly tournament favourites Borussia Dortmund at 6/1 who are unseeded having finished second in their group.

Europa League kings Sevilla are also unseeded, while teams such as Napoli, Lazio, Bayer Leverkusen, Athletic Bilbao, Porto and Gary Neville’s Valencia will also fancy a run towards the final in Basel next year.

There’s no doubting it’s a strong line-up for the Europa League’s latter stages, but the big question is, who do you think will win it?
