O’Halloran named Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month

St. Johnstone’s Michael O’Halloran has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month by the title sponsors.

The 24-year-old attacker excelled in November, helping the Saints stay undefeated in their first three league games of the month.

Tommy Wright’s side are now up to fourth in the table with O’Halloran an integral part of the Perthshire outfit’s recent success.

The speedy frontman netted St. Johnstone’s equaliser in their comeback win against Kilmarnock before having a hand in both of his team’s goals against Dundee United.

And to round-off a fine month, O’Halloran turned provider again, this time to David Wotherspoon, as the Saints secured a draw against Dundee last Friday.

The newly-crowned Player of the Month has certainly caught the eye this season with a number of pundits north of the border tipping him for international honours.

If he can maintain his current form then a call-up into Gordon Strachan’s Scotland squad could be on the horizon.

St. Johnstone are 2/1 to beat Ross County in the Highlands this weekend and continue their purple patch.
