NFL Week 13: The best bets from another jam-packed schedule

Published:

Our picks for the best bets of the latest NFL Sunday can’t all be combined in a multiple.

Three of them, the trio of picks against the spread, can form a treble that pays £54.20 to a £10 stake, while the big performance expected from New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr can be backed as a single.

Here are our explanations for the selections:

Tennessee Titans (-2.5) to beat Jacksonville Jaguars @ 10/11

The Titans own the third-longest losing streak at home in the history of the NFL. The 11 games lost at Nissan Stadium is three short of the league record, but won’t get close thanks to Jacksonville’s visit this week.

The Jaguars were the last team the Titans beat in front of their own fans and can make use of an advantageous line to land this one.

Arizona Cardinals (-4) to beat St Louis Rams @ 20/23

The Cardinals and Rams are streaking in opposing directions as they prepare to do battle at Edward Jones Dome. St Louis have lost four in a row ahead of welcoming Arizona to their building, while the Cardinals arrive having won their previous five.

With the league’s fourth best run defence boosting them and Carson Palmer back as the side’s starting quarterback, Arizona is picked to prevail over a small handicap.

Oakland Raiders (+3) to beat Kansas City Chiefs @ 4/5

Just like the Cardinals, the Kansas City Chiefs have won five in a row. However, it’s the Oakland Raiders that get our support as the visitors suffer from a mounting injury list.

While the Chiefs struggle to deal with their depleted stocks, the Raiders approach .500 for the first time since December 2011. They would reach that mark with a victory at the Collseum and are picked to do so with a small head start.

Odell Beckham Jr to have over 95.5 receiving yards vs New York Jets @ 17/20

New York Giants receiver Beckham makes the most eye-catching plays in the league on a regular basis.

But it isn’t just his spellbinding one-handed grabs that make him a star, he’s a reliable target for Eli Manning too.

Manning passed to Beckham 18 times last week and with the Jets’ star corner back Darrelle Revis out of the lineup with concussion, Beckham is set for another busy afternoon.
