How Twitter reacted to Tyson Fury’s surprise heavyweight win
Tyson Fury believed it, but how many of the boxing world followed him in that belief was questionable. But after 12 rounds in Germany against Wladimir Klitschko, the 27-year-old realised his dream of becoming heavyweight champion of the world.
After an assured performance of movement and solid jabbing, Fury was awarded a unanimous decision by the judges.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the result:
Of course many of the British boxing fraternity were quick to pay tribute

After making his own return to the sport, perhaps David Haye has an eye on fighting Fury

Lennox Lewis didn’t need to say much

With Fury now holding the WBA, WBO and IBF belts, the division’s other Champion had this provocative message
I see you @Tyson_Fury…. #ImComingForYou — Deontay Wilder (@BronzeBomber) November 28, 2015
The way Fury celebrated his win left eyebrows raised however
Tyson Fury is singing the Armageddon theme in the middle of the ring after winning the heavyweight title. This is real life.
