Europa League: Tottenham to arrest poor away form

Published:

Tottenham are unbeaten in 12 Premier League games after their impressive 4-1 win over West Ham at the weekend but the north Londoners’ form is not quite so sparkling on the road in Europe.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have won just one of their last six away from White Hart Lane in the Europa League and that will feed the confidence of Thursday night’s hosts Qarabag.

The Azerbaijanis have lost just one of their last seven home ties in the competition, scoring five goals in their last three.

With this in mind, and the fact that Tottenham are firing on all cylinders on the domestic front, Ladbrokes has put together a timely Price Boost, enhancing a Spurs win with both sides scoring from 10/3 to 4/1.

The Lilywhites aren’t the only English club in action though, with Liverpool hosting Ligue 1 side Bordeaux fresh from dishing out a 4-1 hammering to Manchester City.

The Reds have scored in 13 of their last 14 home games in all competitions and will fancy their chances against a Bordeaux side that has won just once in nine attempts on the road in the Europa League.

The French side have scored in six of their last eight games in all competitions though, hinting that the hosts, who have conceded in eight of their last nine games at Anfield, will not have things all their own way.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have also been given the boost treatment, with a Reds win and both sides finding the back of the net moving from 11/4 to 7/2.

And, with both games live on TV, there’s even more reason to get involved, thanks to Ladbrokes‘ famous Double Your Odds offer.

Back any player to score first and the bookmaker will pay out at double the odds if they achieve the feat inside the opening 25 minutes.*
