POLL: Will football be better for fans in 2045?

Published:

Seeing as today is of course, Back to the Future Day, it would be remiss of us not to centre our poll around good old DeLorean time-travel.

Let’s say Marty McFly and Doc Brown hit 88mph one more time and shoot forward to life in 2045, what would they find when they step out of the car?

Will they find a world where FIFA is a peerless, democratic governing body which actually listens to the fans?

Will they find a world with wage caps to produce greater competition up and down the leagues?

Will they find air-conditioned 100,000 seater football stadiums full of football fans young and old paying money they can reasonably afford to pay?

Or will they find a world where match day prices fetch over £1,000, Raheem Sterling Jnr is paid £20billion an hour and a Sepp Blatter legacy sees the World Cup of 2046 heading to Antarctica?

And so today’s poll is a straight-forward one.
