POLL: Who will be the Premier League’s top scorer?

Published:

With the news filtering through that Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero could miss up to seven games after suffering a hamstring injury while away on international duty, the race to be the Premier League’s top scorer has been blown wide open.

The Argentine was stretched off against Ecuador and Aguero has suggested he could be out for a significant spell.

After hammering in five goals against Newcastle just before the international break, Aguero looked a shoo-in to claim the Premier League’s golden boot for a second year in succession.

But his absence opens the door for a host of players, and we want you to know who you think will be top scorer come May.

Aguero remains favourite at 5/4, while Alexis Sanchez’s recent golden patch has moved the Arsenal man in to 6/1 from 28/1 less than a month ago.

Jamie Vardy currently tops the list with seven goals for Leicester, but can the former Fleetwood man continue that form and become the first Englishman to win the accolade since Kevin Phillips in 1999/00?
