NFL Acca: Green Bay Packers headline the latest pigskin fourfold

Published:

Our NFL accumulator form couldn’t be better at the moment. After narrowly missing out on the opening two flutters of the season, both by one leg, the gridiron gurus landed a 13/1 fourfold in week three to keep the confidence high.

As week four of the season looms in to view, here are our latest selections:

Carolina Panthers to beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ 10/17

The Panthers are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2003, when they won their opening five games and made that season’s Super Bowl. Quarterback Cam Newton is a big part of their latest success, adding his athletic running to his throwing armoury to keep defences on their toes.

The Bucs, who are 1-2 to open the campaign, should be comfortable against Newton’s arm, but as the 28th-ranked defence against the rush, could struggle on the ground at Raymond James Stadium this Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons to beat Houston Texans @ 2/5

Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have combined frequently as the Atlanta Falcons have sprung out to a 3-0 start this season. Jones has caught 34 passes from Ryan for 440 yards so far and the pair were instrumental in Atlanta’s comeback win over the Dallas Cowboys last week.

The Texans provide the biggest test to the Falcons’ unbeaten start, but even with Arian Foster returning to the running back position remain a work in progress.

Cincinnati Bengals to beat Kansas City Chiefs @ 10/19

The Chiefs face the Bengals having allowed more touchdowns through the air than any other side in the NFL, surrendering 861 passing yards to their oppositions in a 1-2 start.

The Bengals, with Andy Dalton under centre, can take advantage of that weakness against the pass to make a first 4-0 start since the 2005 season.

Dalton has thrown for 866 yards and eight touchdowns across the first three weeks, figures that represent the best start of his five-year career. His form can continue in Ohio this week.

Green Bay Packers (-7.5) to beat San Francisco 49ers @ 1/1

The Packers and supreme leader Aaron Rodgers are one of just four NFl sides averaging more than 30 points per game so far this season, and Green Bay can boost their average against one of the league’s most accommodating defences.

Only one side allows more points per contest than the 49ers at the moment, and with Rodgers in supreme form, a little more than a 10-point handicap should be a more than manageable obstacle.
