Klopp will be king of the Kop and put Big Sam in the shade

Two of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures have added intrigue owing to the recent appointment of two particularly charismatic managers.
Well, perhaps one in the shape of Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool although Sunderland gaffer Sam Allardyce does have his moments.
And we wanted to know which of these two managerial titans would make the biggest impact at their respective new clubs.
The answer was emphatic.
Klopp easily came out on top in this particular battle of the bosses with 85 per cent of Ladbrokes News voters backing him in our straight shoot-out.
Let’s be honest, the ex-Borussia Dortmund coach probably has much sharper tools at his disposal so the result isn’t too much of a surprise.
However, with a top-four finish perhaps the ultimate aim this season he still has his work cut out given the Reds’ recent history.
Aside from their title tilt two seasons ago Liverpool have largely underperformed, finishing outside the top five in all but one of the last six seasons.
Meanwhile, Big Sam faces an altogether different challenge.
Having picked up just three points from their opening eight Premier League games, just avoiding the drop would represent a fair achievement.
It’s a task the Mackems have risen to before but how high the 60-year-old can take the Wearsiders remains to be seen.
