How Twitter reacted to yet another Chelsea loss
Published:Will Jose Mourinho still be Chelsea manager next weekend? Would Sunderland be able to beat the Blues? Could Stamford Bridge see Championship football next term?
After West Ham condemned the defending Premier League to their fifth league defeat of the season, these kind of questions could all be found flying around Twitter as the wider footballing fan base rejoiced in the west Londoners’ woes.
Here’s the best of that reaction, in 140-character form:
With Eden Hazard famously out of favour with his manager, the Portuguese was left looking for alternatives:
“Do you play left wing? Do you like defending? Call me later. May have a vacancy” https://t.co/PwzWdGsxA7 pic.twitter.com/QTdqbYCkH1

After trailing to a Mauro Zarate goal, Kurt Zouma came as close as possible to levelling the score:

First Nemanja Matic was sent off:
Chelsea trail at West Ham and now Matic is sent off. Mourinho smiles wryly. Conspiracy theory to follow.

Then the manager followed:
45 minutes with Mourinho: West Ham 1-0 Chelsea 11 minutes without Mourinho: West Ham 1-1 Chelsea The difference.

While sat in the director’s box, Andy Carroll nodded the winner, prompting a new version of Where’s Wally:
Where’s José? Try and spot Mr. Mourinho in the stands when Andy Carroll’s goal went in. Face like thunder. pic.twitter.com/3NLjqZxeta

It wasn’t all bad for The Special One though, he got to meet a famous pub owner:

But after the final whistle, the jokes really started:

I’m gonna dress up as a referee for Halloween and scare Mourinho.

Is it just me or is Mourinho starting to look a bit like David Moyes?
