What will Jeremy Corbyn say in Labour party conference speech?

Published:

He’s the new man in charge of reviving the Labour Party’s fortunes at the ballot box and in just a matter of hours Jeremy Corbyn will be making his first big leadership speech in Brighton.

The media glare is particularly strong and Ladbrokes aren’t about to miss a trick before the North Islington MP takes to the stage.

Our very own politicos have priced up another (batch) of potential words and phrases we might hear from Corbyn with the ever popular Buzzword Bingo market making a welcome return.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, some of the Labour supremo’s main targets in office, ‘poverty’ (1/10), ‘food banks’ (1/5) and ‘austerity’ (1/3) are only available at pretty prohibitive prices.

Instead, better value lies in ‘new kind of politics’ and ‘Thatcher’ which are both even-money shots alongside ‘socialism’.

Further down the list, ‘illegal wars’ is appealing at 7/4 given the fact that Corbyn has already gone on record to apologise for his party’s dealings in Iraq..

However, if you’re looking for something juicier still then why not have a dabble on ‘revolution’ (4/1), ‘class war’ (16/1) or ‘dictatorship of the proletariat’ (100/1)?

Granted, they’re pretty ambitious choices but a little wager will give you an added excuse to tune in and see if you can catch the bookies napping.
