The Tweets Palace, Spurs and Man Utd fans didn’t want to see

Perhaps the most linked footballer in the contract yet to move clubs during the summer transfer window is Queens Park Rangers striker, Charlie Austin.

With mere hours remaining on the countdown clock, the Englishman has finally spoken out on his future, via the 140-character world of Twitter, and it won’t please the vast array of clubs linked with his signature.

Those words ensure Austin is committed to the Hoops’ cause for the remainder of the season, with the striker seemingly ruling himself out of leaving Loftus Road this season.

The 26-year-old, who scored 18 goals in the Premier League last term, went on to retweet two messages from Independent journalist Sam Wallace about the matter, which also suggested the striker would be going nowhere on Deadline Day.

Ladbrokes make QPR 12/1 to win the Championship this season and make an immediate return to the Premier League and those odds are sure to shrink with a full season of Austin leading their line now seemingly confirmed.
