Poll: How many teams from British Isles will reach Euro 2016?

England secured their place at the Euro 2016 finals next year with a routine 6-0 win over San Marino at the weekend but will the Three Lions be the only side representing the British Isles in France
That’s what we’re asking the Ladbrokes News readers to decide today after Wales were forced to wait after drawing 0-0 with Israel, Scotland’s hopes were dented by a 1-0 reverse to Georgia Northern Ireland moved a step close with a win over faroe Islands and Ireland cruised to a 4-0 win over Gibraltar.

England
Wayne Rooney may have to wait to break Bobby Charlton’s scoring record but the wait for England is over as the Three Lions went through with victory over San Marino to maintain their 100 per cent record and reach the finals with three games to spare.
Wales
With Israel the opponents when Wales last qualified for a major tournament in 1958 it appeared to written in the stars that Chris Coleman’s side would wrap up qualification against the Israelis over the weekend. However, with some tired legs after their 1-0 win over Cyprus, the Welsh could only manage a 0-0 draw and now require one pint from their remaining two games.
Having taken four points from their remaining opponents – Bosnia Herzegovina and Andorra – already in qualifying the wait looks to be over for Gareth Bale and co.
Scotland
Defeat to Georgia has left the Scots sweating ahead of a home tie against Germany this week. Gordon Strachan’s side currently lie in fourth place in Group D, three points behind Poland in the automatic qualification place and one point behind Ireland.
While a win against Germany appears unlikely, the penultimate match against the Poles could have a huge say in who reaches France and who watches the tournament on TV.
Republic of Ireland
Martin O’Neill’s side are a point to the good compared to Scotland in what could be a race for third and a play-off place but with Germany, Poland and Georgia to come the Irish have a slightly tougher task.
A win against Georgia at the Aviva Stadium tonight appears crucial if the Irish are to retain any chance of edging out the Scots.
Northern Ireland
The surprise package of Group F, Norn Iron can guarantee qualification with victory over Hungary at Windsor Park tonight. Having beaten the Hungarians 2-1 away at the start of qualifying Michael O’Neill’s side will be confident of getting over the line.
Fail to beat Bernd Storck’s side though and it will a tough one to call, with both sides having two games approaching banker territory to close out their qualifying campaigns.
