Could Michu to Celtic really happen on Deadline Day?
Published:We’ve already been busy reacting to the news linking Steven Fletcher with a move to Celtic and now we’re adding another striker into the mix.
Swansea outcast Michu is the talk of Twitter with numerous sources and Hoops fan groups speculating on whether there’s any foundation to the story.
Having scored 22 goals in his first season at the south Wales club the 29-year-old Spaniard has subsequently fallen down the pecking order owing to injuries and poor form.
And it’s alleged that he’s been told he’s now surplus to requirements at the Liberty Stadium.
That news has opened the door to the likes of Scottish champions Celtic who are believed to be interested in securing his services.
3rd party Rep has been trying to get Michu to #Celtic there’s been no contact so far but it could progress if he’s still at #SCFC after 6pm

Fans seem to be 50/50 on Michu. He’s a major upgrade on what we have. I’d take him in a heartbeat. #Celtic

However, a few Bhoys remain unconvinced that they’ll be seeing him anytime soon…

If Michu signs with Celtic today then I’m getting @kraljski to give me this weeks Euro millions lottery numbers.

With the Scottish transfer window closing later than its English counterpart there could still be some late movement although according to Wales Online the Swans have ruled out Michu’s departure.
