It will be time for the quarter finals in both the men’s and women’s tournaments at the final Grand Slam of the year, with world number one Novak Djokovic bidding for a first US Open trophy in four years. He is 4/5 to win it.

20:00, Sky Sports 1: Castleford Tigers v St Helens – It’s fifth against fourth in the Super League Super 8s, with St Helens recently ending a run of four straight defeats by beating Leeds Rhinos. Castleford won this identical fixture 25-24 during the regular season in June.

17:30, Sky Sports 1: Manchester United v Liverpool – The Red Devils did the league double over Liverpool for the second time in seven seasons in the last campaign, although the pair are currently locked on seven points through four matches of this term.

13:30, Sky Sports 1: Sunderland v Spurs – The hosts will he hoping that Jermain Defoe continues to pack his scoring boots to net against his former club as the Black Cats looks to climb off the bottom of the Premier League.

16:00, Sky Sports 1: Leicester v Aston Villa – It was a home win in all three matches between these midlands rivals last season, but Villa’s only league success so far this campaign came on the road.
