Twitter reacts to Jermain Defoe’s rather detailed job vacancy

Jermain Defoe is a man with a vision. As he looks to balance helping Sunderland to Premier League safety with creating what looks like a global empire, he needs your help.
Well, sort of.
The Mackems striker has released a job specification for a role of 24/7 ‘Executive Personal Assistant’ to manage his life off the pitch, and it’s fair to say the demands are fairy varied.
For a cool £50k a year the lucky candidate will be required to undertake a wide variety of tasks from diary management to planning events for family birthdays.
You can see the full ad on the fantastically named ‘Secs in the City‘, but here are our five stand out responsibilities for us here at Ladbrokes News:
– Regularly checking the fridge is fully stocked and plants watered in Defoe’s home
– Organising a party on Bonfire Night
– Help create Jermain Defoe clothing line or fragrance
– Producing Defoe iPhone apps
– Selecting and organising wardrobes for special events
Now, it’s fair to say that the advert has caused a bit of a stir on social media.

But once it became clear that the Sunderland man wouldn’t be showcasing his bolero any time soon, questions began to be asked as to what other responsibilities the job entailed…
