Poll: Where will Pedro end up? And do we still care?

Published:

Manchester United have supposedly been joined by rivals Manchester City in the race to sign Barcelona ace Pedro but neither club appears close to landing their man.

The Catalan giants are not actively looking to sell the forward, who came off the bench to score the winner in Barca’s 5-4 Super Cup win over Sevilla, but boss Luis Enrique appears unlikely to stand in his way should the Spaniard decide to move on.

However, despite the so-called interest from both Manchester clubs neither has matched the £21.2m buy-out clause in the 28-year-old’s contract.

From the outside it is difficult to see why such a nominal fee (for the clubs involved) is not being offered if their interest in the player is genuine.

The will-he, won’t-he nature of this transfer looks set to rumble on so today we’re asking Ladbrokes News readers to let us know where they think Pedro will be plying his trade come September 2.
