For the last 15 days Ladbrokes has been raising excitement levels ahead of the new Premier League season with their Countdown Specials.

Four days remain before the Red Devils raise the curtain on the shiny campaign, in an early-kickoff encounter against Tottenham, so Ladbrokes make two seasonal possibilities for the club’s season an equal 4/1 chance.
The first centres around the Old Trafford unit’s long-running rivalry with Liverpool, with Ladbrokes offering their special price that Louis van Gaal’s side complete a Premier League double over their Merseyside foes.
It was a feat the Dutchman managed to achieve in his first season in charge of the famous club. A 3-0 victory at home, thanks to goals from Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie, was followed by a Mata brace in a 2-1 Anfield victory famous for Steven Gerrard’s hasty second-half sending off.
Liverpool took both opportunities to brag the season prior to that, although it was United that claimed maximum points in 2012/13, with a pair of matching 2-1 triumphs.
Alternatively, Ladbrokes can take the same 4/1 odds about United winning either domestic cup this season.
Considering the club haven’t won either since a 2010 triumph in the then Carling Cup, which they successfully defended from a year prior, it’s a fair assumption that Van Gaal will want to end the wait for either trophy.
The FA Cup has proven to be even more elusive, having last claimed success in the competition all the way back in 2004 and only reaching two finals in it since.
