“Tending goal is Swansea player of the year Lukasz Fabianski. Only two keepers kept more clean sheets last year and gets the nod between the sticks,” he said.
“Laurent Koscielny and John Terry are always a threat at set-pieces, registering eight goals between them last term and are joined by Southampton skipper Jose Fonte.
“David Silva’s stats speak for themselves. 12 goals and 12 assists last term along with 28 bonus points for his performances make the City man a must-pick. Fellow Spaniard Cesc Fabregas will also chip in with the assists and in the absence of Diego Costa could be deployed as a false nine.
“Joining him in midfield is Manchester United new boy Memphis Depay. He may well be a popular choice, but his 22 goals from midfield for PSV last year is difficult to ignore.
“Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has featured heavily for Arsenal in pre-season and having been selected by only six per cent of all fantasy teams could be an astute pick.
“Christian Benteke could be the striker Liverpool have been waiting for and the Belgian is sure to get better service than he did at Aston Villa. England and Spurs man Harry Kane can continue his upward spiral while Aleksandar Mitrović is worth taking a chance on after his 54 per cent goal scoring ratio at Anderlecht last year.”
