Poll: Is it time for struggling Tiger Woods to call it quits?

In sinking his par four on the 18th at St Andrews on Sunday, Tiger Woods was doing something that he hadn’t done in his whole career so far – miss the cut in back-to-back majors.
Completing his round of 75 the three-time winner of the competition finished up +7 on his two rounds at the Fife course.
In fact, just seven players separated Woods from the Open’s wooden spoon, three of those aged 55-plus.
It’s abundantly clear that the Tiger of old is but a distant memory, but is it time for the former world number one to call it quits?

Ladbrokes currently offer a price of 6/1 (from 12/1) that Woods dons his spikes for the final time in 2015, while it isn’t a whole lot shorter at 4/1 that he wins another major in his whole career.
A failure to make the final two rounds this weekend follows a missed cut at Chambers Bay in the US Open last month in a period of two years that have been a struggle.
This weekend’s tournament was the 15th Woods has competed in since January 2014, and it was the fifth that he has made an early exit in.
Just three top 25 finishes in that period, including at the Masters back in April, speak volumes about how far he has fallen. That is without even mentioning that he has fallen to number 241 in the world.
In 2013 he racked up seven tournament wins and a further three top-10 finishes in 18 events while hinting that the 14-time Major winner of old was back.
But alas, it appears the Tiger is no longer on the prowl for competition success, more scavenging for scraps as he attempts to make cuts.
Gary Player may have said that he in an hour he could turn things around for Woods, but what do you think?
