You think Ogilvy is the @SecretTourPro, he keeps us guessing

Forget about pawing over the latest scrambling and GIR statistics ahead of the Open, there’s only one mystery that needs to be solved and it doesn’t concern trying to find the winner at St. Andrews.

Well, at least that’s the train of thought we followed today with our poll pondering just who’s behind the mysterious @SecretTourPro account.

Ladbrokes News voters think it’s Australian Geoff Ogilvy with 51 per cent of you making the 38-year-old your pick given some of the references made to a well-known Aussie lager.

But if you thought you’d cracked the case then think again.

The man in question got involved, teasing us with his denials and a slew of cryptic clues.

Here’s his riposte to our attempts to reveal his identity…

Could the PGA and European Tour star be double bluffing or are we right to look elsewhere?

Gregory Havret finished as the runner-up in our poll with Marc Leishman only just behind in a tight race for second.

Earlier today our man Ben Stones told us that pictures tweeted by the @SecretTourPro inside the Ping truck while Havret was also there could be a giveaway.

However, that only prompted more mischief from our elusive golfer…

And finally, bringing up the rear we have fellow Aussies Adam Scott and Jason Day on 11 per cent and 9 per cent respectively.

So, the quest to uncover the @SecretTourPro continues.
