Manchester United to be told wing target’s decision on Friday

Manchester United will find out later this week if they have won the race to sign Arda Turan, according to reports.
The Atletico Madrid ace is wanted by a host of Europe’s top clubs and is poised to announce a decision on his future on Friday this week.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the Turkey international winger has already made up his mind, but will not reveal where he will be playing next season until July 3.
United are not the only Premier League club vying for the La Liga, Copa del Rey, Europa League and Turkish Super Lig winner, with Chelsea also rumoured to be willing to meet his £29m release clause.
Ahmed Bulut, the player’s agent told the newspaper: “Arda has not met with Manchester United or passed a medical. When you find out who his new team are on Friday you will all agree that we made the right choice.
“We want to clarify that, at this moment, there is a lot of pressure, but we do not want to make a formal declaration before he has signed. But yes, in the next four days, Arda will decide which club he plays for next season.”
United boss Louis van Gaal has already added Memphis Depay to his wing ranks and with Angel Di Maria also looking likely to remain at Old Trafford, Turan could find it difficult to hold down a first team spot in the Red Devils side.
However, with United back in Champions League action, Van Gaal is keen to boost his ranks further still so it would not be a surprise to see the Atletico man sign on the dotted line.
The Red Devils are currently priced at 11/2 to win the Premier League this year but if Turan arrives alongside United’s other rumoured targets, expect those odds to diminish before the new campaign kicks off.
