Three players Spurs could reinvest a £25m Lamela windfall in

Despite another disappointing season at Tottenham Hotspur, Erik Lamela’s immediate future at Spurs seems to have been secured by Mauricio Pochettino’s faith in his compatriot.
However, with reports that Juventus would be willing to spend £25m on the Argentine forward, Pochettino and Spurs’ resolve to give Lamela another shot will be sorely tested this summer.
When you consider the players that might be on the market for south of that £25m fee, the Lilywhites might be wise to grab the cash and reinvest it in some fresh blood to reinvigorate their squad.
Spurs can still finish fifth this term, but will need three points away at Everton if they are to have a chance. Pochettino’s side are 15/8 to beat the Toffees.
Pedro
The Barcelona man will have watched grim-faced as Luis Suarez arrived at the Camp Nou last summer, joining a frontline that already contained Neymar and Lionel Messi.
Understandably, Luis Enrique has struggled to make room for Pedro in his side this term, and the Spain international is likely to move on in the coming months for a fee of around £7m.
Champions League clubs will surely be sniffing around, but as the 27-year-old – who has scored 98 goals in 315 Barcelona appearances – has already won it all, maybe he’ll fancy a more challenging role at Spurs.
Son Heung-min
The Bayer Leverkusen forward has long been linked with a move to England, and will no doubt be on several club’s radars again this summer after netting 17 goals in 41 games for Roger Schmidt’s side.
Leverkusen have no shortage of young attacking talent on their books, so might be convinced to part with Son for a hefty fee, although the player could be keen to stay put for a Champions League campaign next term.
Paul-Georges Ntep
The audacious Rennes wide forward has the skills and personality to be a major hit in the Premier League, and has caught the eye of plenty of big sides after netting nine times in Ligue 1 this term.
Ntep has been labelled as arrogant, but his thrillingly direct style looks an excellent fit for English football, and his self-confidence might well help him succeed where Lamela has struggled.
