We are in for a certified feast of racing this weekend, with eight Listed or Group races on Saturday alone.
With the likes of the Curragh, Goodwood and Haydock putting on cards, there are sure to be plenty of top class animals, and just as many tempting betting propositions on show.
The Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh is undoubtedly the highlight, where Gleneagles seeks a big race double.

The phrase ‘horses for courses’ gets bandied about a lot, and while Jeremy Noseda’s horse may be more familiar on Lingfield’s polytrack these days, his record there is nothing like his form at Goodwood.
Four wins from four course and distance outings show that this is just the contest for the six-year-old.
Even with a 3lb penalty for his win here in the Fountain Stakes in September, he has something in hand at the weights with all but one of his rivals.
He was taken out of the Huxley Stakes at Chester on account of the soft ground, but with drying conditions here can make amends.
A 2l defeat by French Navy was better than his fifth place suggests and back at a track he loves, he can deliver the goods.
One of only two previous Goodwood winners in the field, Richard Hannon’s colt looks a real progressive sort and can make his course experience count here.
He got off the mark at the first time of asking here in a course and distance maiden, after twice running respectively, but without winning in his two-year-old campaign.
He followed that up with a very solid fifth in a competitive handicap at York’s Dante meeting off the same mark he is allotted here.
Although he is up in class this time round, that race looked as competitive, if not even more so.
He is a son of Myboycharlie, and in that one’s short stallion career to date, it seems as if his progeny are progressing well with age, so plenty of improvement can be expected here.
The exciting Cam Hardie takes the mount, reducing his burden by 3lbs, which could be the difference between success and failure.
Robert Cowell’s veteran was giving subsequent winner Hot Streak 7lbs on ground he wouldn’t have liked in last year’s Temple Stakes, yet still finished third.
In a potentially weaker renewal this time round, he looks a brilliant each way shot.
Back on better ground, with no three-year-olds in the field getting weight, the 10-year-old can come on for his respectable third at Newmarket at the start of the month.
He has come on for his first run from a break in recent years, so expect a step forward for this evergreen performer.
The gelding seems to love this race as well, with two wins, a second and a third in his four attempts at the contest.
And with Graham Gibbons on board, a man who has landed four of his six Group race successes over sprint distances, the pair could well out-run their odds.
