Juventus v Real Madrid: Double digits about hosts for newbies

Published:

New customers can have up to a tenner on either Juventus at 10/1 or Real Madrid at 8/1 when the football behemoths clash in the first leg of their Champions Leagues semi-final in Turin.*

For those who have held off on putting pen to paper with the bookies thus far, while waiting for the ideal sign-up bonus to come along, this could be the one.

The Old Lady are on a high after securing their third Serie A title in a row at the weekend, courtesy of a 1-0 win away to Sampdoria, and go into the match off the back of six home victories in a row, and 12 in their last 13 in front of the faithful.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side have gone unbeaten on their own patch in the Champions League for more than two years, winning four of their five continental clashes at the Juventus Stadium this term and drawing the other with Madrid’s city rivals Atletico.

They’re available at 2/1 generally, so punting at five times those odds should hold great appeal for those who have faith, but no doubt others will wager on the European champions and Ladbrokes’ massive 8/1 odds offered about an away victory, which is priced at 6/4 otherwise.

Los Blancos’ last away loss came at Barcelona six weeks ago, and Carlo Ancelotti’s side have won nine of their ten games since in all competitions, knocking out Atleti at the Champions League quarter-final stage in the process.

Only Diego Simeone’s side have kept them at bay on the road in Europe this term, with Ludogorets, Liverpool, Basel and Schalke all downed when Cristiano Ronaldo and co came to town.

You won’t get 10/1 about the Serie A champions, at home no less, and 8/1 about the Champions League holders in a two-horse race every day. Get on while you can.
