It’s no exaggeration to say that The Professor has been in pretty scintillating form recently. With another pretender vanquished last weekend the bearded calculator is now on a three-game winning streak and looking pretty smug.
But when you’re so dominant there will be always be challengers waiting in the wings to knock you off your perch.
And that leads us into the latest round of our tipping competition with @sassyamyfoster vying for a £100 rollover FREE BET!
Will our very own Special One take another contender to the cleaners?
As usual, the format is simple. One point will be awarded for a correct result with three points for guessing the correct score.
Just for good measure here are a few of the facts and stats that have influenced The Prof’s thinking:
– Leicester are putting up a pretty plucky fight in a bid to preserve their Premier League status. But the Foxes have failed to win three games in a row this season and can’t be trusted against a Swansea side who’ve taken a respectable 17 points from the last 30 available.
– Our challenger has been pretty bold with their Ipswich prediction. The Professor isn’t so keen given that Mick McCarthy’s men have lost six of their last eight away in the Championship. Expect a nervy stalemate between these two promotion hopefuls.
– Jose Mourinho would probably be quite happy with a draw against Manchester United, despite the fact that the Red Devils haven’t won at Stamford Bridge in their last 12 attempts. Louis van Gaal’s men are resurgent of late having won six on the bounce and on this rare occasion the heart rules the head.
