Liverpool favourite is value pick for nutmeg in Barcelona v PSG

Lionel Messi may be the most likely candidate to deliver yet another Barcelona nutmeg in the Champions League, but it’s Luis Suarez who could be the one leaving punters smiling.

The latest Ladbrokes odds have the Argentine ‘Best Player in the World’ contender at a solid 4/6 to nutmeg any PSG player in Tuesday’s second leg encounter in Spain.

Messi certainly has form where this piece of skill is concerned, having famously put the ball through good old James Milner’s leg’s during Barcelona’s 1-0 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad last month.

Yet for our money it’s his teammate and fellow South American, Luis Suarez, who looks the most likely candidate to pull off another ‘meg against the Parisiens.

The 28-year-old appears to be back to something approaching his Liverpool best, having scored five goals in his last four outings for Barcelona.

That haul includes a fine brace against PSG at the Parc des Princes that featured not one, but two nutmegs from the Uruguayan.

High on confidence and with a commanding first leg lead, Suarez may be tempted to repeat the trick with Ladbrokes offering 10/11 on the serial chomper doing the dirty deed against the Ligue 1 outfit.

David Luiz was on the receiving end of both the Uruguayan’s nutmegs last time out in Europe and offers value at 3/1 to be the victim of the same tried-and-tested trick again here with Suarez 6/1 to pull off the piece of skill on the Brazilian for a third time in two games.

The PSG man may be tempted into a little revenge, however, having been the butt of the jokes on social media after being fooled twice by his Barca rival.

Luiz is 5/1 to nutmeg any Barcelona player, while he’s 10/1 to do the trick on Luis Suarez.

With the Catalans in a commanding position following their 3-1 win away in France, this could be the best way to get value out of an otherwise ordinary fixture.
