What line-up will Spurs chase next term’s top four with?

Mauricio Pochettino says it’s his “dream” to manage Tottenham in the Champions League and that to do it, the club will need to build a “strong” team.

Judging by the vast array of rumours linking current Spurs players away from the club, the Argentine doesn’t fancy many of his squad to be up to a top-four challenge next season.

Some sources think up to nine fringe players will be out the door over the summer, with more valued players like Hugo Lloris also thought to be targeted by some of the globe’s biggest clubs, which will be hard to resist for the Frenchman.

Worryingly for Lilywhites lovers, whose side are 5/2 to beat Manchester City next time out, the number of rumoured exits far outweigh links with new additions. It poses a nagging question: How will Spurs’ starting XI look next term?

A graphic, detailing which Spurs men are at the greatest risk of being sold (according to the rumours), along with those thought to be on the way in and a proposed first-team for the 2015/16 season can be found below.
