Kamara: Chelsea don’t have to beat Manchester United

The race for this season’s Premier League title may have petered out somewhat.
But before champions-elect Chelsea can start popping the champagne corks at Stamford Bridge the Blues face the small matter of a visit from Manchester United this weekend.
Jose Mourinho’s champions-elect currently enjoy a seven-point gap at the top of the table as well as a game in hand on their nearest challengers.
And given that hefty advantage how much pressure will be on the Pensioners ahead of their Saturday night showdown?
We caught up with Chris Kamara to get his opinions on the upcoming clash.
“Chelsea don’t have to beat United given the amount of points they’ve already got on the board” he said.
“They can limp over the line and they don’t have to be gung-ho this weekend. That’ll suit Jose Mourinho.
“Of course the pressure would be different if it was a title decider. When you weigh it all up the most likely outcome looks to be a draw.
“In the position that Chelsea are in and with the title in their grasp Mourinho will set them up so that they don’t need to take too many chances in order to just nick the game.”
However, with the visitors eager to further outline their attacking resurgence they may have other ideas. United are 3/1 to beat Chelsea for the first time in five Premier League meetings with Ladbrokes
