Enhanced Treble: Wolfsburg lead the pack in our Europa boost

Published:

The Champions League may be done for another week, but all that means is we move onto the next best thing in European football on Thursday!

And as the Europa League enters the quarter final stage, we feel it only right to honour the competition with an enhanced treble.

So from 8am on Thursday you can get 5/1 (from 4/1) that Wolfsburg, Sevilla and Club Brugge all come out on top in their first leg ties.

It’s clear why this boost is not to be missed, but if you weren’t sure, here’s a little background on the fixtures…

Wolfsburg to beat Napoli

The Wolves are certainly in charge of their own patch at the moment, winning their last 10 at the Volkswagen Arena with victories against the likes of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan showing what a tough nut they are to crack.

With Napoli netting just once on the road in their last five, it’s hard to see them not adding to that impressive win in Saxony.

Sevilla to beat Zenit St Petersburg

Maybe it’s the warmer climates, but Zenit certainly don’t enjoy their visits to Spain, having lost on all three previous ties there.

They could be set for another spoilt holiday with Sevilla losing just once at home in the past two years.

They’ve won 29 times and drawn seven in that period at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, sorry Zenit!

Club Brugge to beat Dnipro

Another side with an impressive home record of late, Club Brugge haven’t been felled at the Jan Breydel Stadium in 11 months.

They too, have won the majority of games in that period, with 21 victories outweighing six draws.

Dnipro may be going OK in their domestic league, but with only one victory in their last eight away games in the Europa League, they look set to become just another statistic for the Belgian club.
