Arsenal included in our enhanced treble on a weekend of sporting elite

Published:

This weekend is all about the biggest and the best in sport with the Grand National and the Masters holding sway in horse racing and golf circles.

So with that in mind, it only makes sense to focus on three behemoths of world football to enhance in a star-studded treble.

From 8am on Saturday, the price on Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona all picking up victories will be boosted from 2/1 to a champion 5/2!

We know you probably need no introduction to this treble of giants, but just in case, here’s why they should be carrying your cash this week.

Arsenal to beat Burnley

Arsene Wenger’s men have been in flying form of late, winning their last seven matches in all competitions, but don’t tell the Frenchman his side are in the title race!

They triumphed 3-0 in the reverse fixture with the clarets back in November, and have a man bang in form that can punish Sean Dyche’s defence.

Olivier Giroud has netted five times in the last four matches and could be the man to get the treble off to a winning start.

PSG to beat Bastia

Before they threw away a two goal lead on their last encounter with Bastia, Les Parisiens had a hold over their Corsican rivals, triumphing in their last nine meetings.

They look primed to get that record back on track, having found the back of the net 10 times in their last three matches.

With home advantage (sort of) at the Stade De France, the French giants will have a huge support behind them as they chase back-to-back Coup De La Ligue trophies.

Barcelona to beat Sevilla

Probably a mainstay in many people’s accas, Barca come into this in form well, like Barcelona!

They’ve won their last nine matches with an aggregate scoreline of 24-5 showing the dominance they have over many of their Spanish rivals.

Throw in that they have triumphed in their last six against Sevilla, and it’s fair to assume Messi and Co. will be keeping up their end of the bargain in this boost.
