Take on the Professor: Bearded calculator ready to go

Published:

The Professor doesn’t really do cliches. However, in this case our tipping boff is prepared to make an exception. As the old adage goes, form is temporary but class is permanent.

And having surrendered a £75 FREE BET and a small chunk of pride last time out it’s time to re-establish the old order.

Standing in the way of a return to past glories is @Nhojjohn25.

After being cleaned out we’re back to the drawing board with a £25 free bet up for grabs this week.

As usual, the format is simple. One point will be awarded for a correct result with three points for guessing the correct score.

Let’s find out how both parties are shaping up ahead of another MASSIVE, INCREDIBLE, SUPER, Premier League weekend…

Here’s a bit more of the detail behind The Professor’s selections:

– West Ham and Sunderland have both been very lacklustre in front of goal, scoring just four times in their last 10 combined games in all competitions. Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat has lost just once in his previous 12 opening fixtures at a new club, winning five of those encounters. Therefore, a low-scoring Black Cats win is foreseeable.

– .Both teams have scored in nine of Tottenham’s Premier League home games so far this season. Coupled with that, Spurs have won four of those by a 2-1 scoreline.

– Newcastle have taken their holiday early which doesn’t bode well when in-form Arsenal come calling. The Gunners have won 13 of their last 15 games in all competitions and can go some way to curing their Champions League heartbreak at St. James’ Park.
